On a much more somber note I talked to my good friend in Chicago lastnight and her and her family need prayers. Her brother and his wife, newly married and expecting their first baby have found out that the baby has a severe heart defect. The baby isn't due for another month, but will either need a heart transplant, or at least 3 surgeries , the first of which it will have to undergo by the time its 10 hours old.

I love your list showing what those tough folks in Minnesota are able to endure.

Will add your friends baby to my prayer list.

The temperature thingee was funny!

I hope that your friends baby survives! How sad for them knowing their baby is in trouble.
I know a lovely lady in Las Vegas who has a 'heart' baby...well Matthew is 3 now... but has had to endure many operations too. Perhaps you could pop over and see her blog and maybe direct your freind's to her blog too for support from someone who know's how it is? Her name is Terri, her blog address:

Wow, that poor family. Definitely in my prayers.

And for MN? You forgot the plugging the cars in temp ;) We did have ONE day off school... after it snowed 31 inches on the day before Halloween one year. And that was it. Ever.
