That is supposedly what I grew up under according to Chris. This is due to the fact that he has seen tons of movies. I thought I had too, until he started asking me some and I kept answering no, nope haven't seen that one, no no no. are you getting the picture of how this conversation went?
Mind you we have been together for 13 years and the rock is gradually growing smaller thanks to him. He loves classic movies, and I just didn't watch alot of those growing up. I still have never seen Oklahoma! or Ol'Yeller. I know of them but still have never seen them. With Chris's help I have seen Brigadoon, White Christmas and the Bells of St. Mary's, to name a few.
If I love a movie I can watch it many many times. My mother cannot understand this. My father was the same way. He would watch Errol Flynn and James Bond movies over and over. Guess thats one more way I'm like him. Chris will watch some movies over and over. One in particular is The Princess Bride, with Cary Elwes. We will all watch that one, its just a great movie. We also will watch Harry Potter over and over , doesn't matter which one.
I like movies that have dancing in them. So Chris is introducing me classic movies that have dancing in them, such as Singin' In The Rain. I get my love of dance from my mom, who loved to dance. Practically the whole courtship between Chris and I took place dancing. Mind you, the last time we danced together was two years ago at our friends wedding, not too long after Chris had his back surgery. But I still hope we can once again go out and dance like we used to. I will pray that my legs will hold up for one two step around a woooden dance floor.
But as for the rock, well I'm pretty sure it will always be there , but hopefuly will continue to grow smaller.
Have a great day!
Oh I nearly forgot in my rock ramblings to tell you about the new blog I found. I got it off of Dawn's blog. She actually met this fellow blogger in person and they both have pics on their websites. Hmm, coldn't get the linky thingy to work, will post it on my favorites in the sidebar. Anyway it is Manicmommy.blogspot.com.

Oh my goodness! I can't believe you hadn't seen Singin' in the Rain! Okay, I need to get a list for you to add to Chris's list. Check out Thouroughly Modern Millie (Julie Andrews), The Court Jester, Meet Me in St Louis, Guys and Dolls, hmm, I'll think of some more.
