Seven ( yes SEVEN) Kinds of Sex
The 1st kind of sex is called: Smurf Sex.
* This kind of sex happens when you first meet someone, and you both have sex until you are blue in the face.
The 2nd kind of sex is called: Kitchen Sex.
* This is when you have been with your partner for a short time, and you are so needy you will have sex anywhere, even in the kitchen.
The 3rd kind of sex is called: Bedroom Sex.
* This is when you have been with your partner for a long time. Your sex has gotten routine, and you usually have sex only in your bedroom.
The 4th kind of sex is called: Hallway Sex
* This is when you have been with your partner for too long. When you pass each other in the hallway you both say 'screw you.'
The 5th kind of sex is called: Religious Sex.
* Which means you get Nun in the morning, Nun in the afternoon and Nun at night. (Very Popular)
The 6th kind is called Courtroom Sex.
* This is when you cannot stand your wife any more. She takes you to court and screws you in front of everyone.
And; Last, but not least,
The 7th kind of sex is called: Social Security Sex.
* You get a little each month. But not enough to enjoy yourself.

A Lesson For LIving In The South
THINGS I HAVE LEARNED FROM LIVING IN THE SOUTH *Possums sleep in the middle of the road with their feet in the air. *There are 5,000 types of snakes on earth and 4,998 live in The South *There are 10,000 types of spiders. All 10,000 live in The South, plus a couple no one's seen before. *If it grows, it sticks; if it crawls, it bites.. *Onced and Twiced are words. *It is not a shopping cart; it is a buggy. *People actually grow and eat okra. *'Fixinto' is one word. *There is no such thing as 'lunch.' There is only dinner and then supper. *Iced tea is appropriate for all meals and you start drinking it when you're two. We do like a little tea with our sugar! *Backwards and forwards means 'I know everything about you.' *DJeet is actually a phrase meaning 'Did you eat?' *You don't have to wear a watch because it doesn't matter what time it is. You work until you're done or it's too dark to see. *You don't PUSH buttons, you MASH them. *You measure distance in minutes. *You'll probably have to switch from 'heat' to 'A/C' in the same day. *'Fix' is a verb. Example: 'I'm fixing to go to the store.' *All the festivals across the state are named after a fruit, vegetable, grain, insect or animal. *You install security lights on your house and garage and leave both unlocked. *You carry jumper cables in your car . . . for your OWN car. *There are only four spices: salt, pepper, Tabasco and ketchup. *The local papers cover national and international news on one page, but require 6 pages for local gossip and sports. *The first day of deer season is a national holiday. *100 degrees Fahrenheit is 'a little warm.' *We have four seasons: Almost Summer, Summer, still Summer and Christmas. *Going to Wal-mart is a favorite past time known as 'goin' Wal-martin' or off to 'Wally World.' *A cool snap (below 70 degrees) is good pinto-bean weather. *A carbonated soft drink isn't a soda, cola or pop. . . . it's a Coke, regardless of brand or flavor. Example: 'What kinda coke you want?' *Fried catfish is the other white meat. *We don't need no stinking driver's ed . . . if our mama says we can drive, we can drive. EVERYONE can't be from the south; it takes lots of bad luck. |

The Mother's Tea
This was the food ! Doesn't it look scrumdidiliumpcious?
Anyway, we had a really good time. Hope everyones day went well. I have to work all day tomorrow and Thursday, so won't be able to catch up on ya'lls blogs till probably Friday!
300 Already?
I will think one up soon though for all my faithful followers. I also had the number of 7777 on my counter this morning - I was astonished. I must have alot of lurkers because I've never topped more than 10 comments except at contest time!
Hope everyone is doing ok. I'm hearing alot of reports of people coming down with some horrendous stomach virus that WE DON'T WANT!!! I am knocking on wood so loudly I'm even bugging the woodpeckers, that I don't get sick.
Yesterday as I had previously posted was a relatively good day and I'm expecting today to be fun too. My mom will be here around 1130 or so and then we are off to Nicole's school to have lunch with her. That will end right about the time I was supposed to be there to help set up and serve for the Mother's Coffee. This years theme is Bless Your Heart - in honor of Heart Disease Awareness. We are to wear a warm-up suit or something red. I'll wear warm-up pants and a red shirt but not a sweatshirt since its going to be near 70 today! But then again the school is sometime cold. Guess I'll take one with me just in case.
Anyway, they usually have fantastic door prizes, speakers and general merriment. I've gone the last two years that Nicole has been at LifeSchool. I will try to get some pics to post for tomorrow.
Remember I said I was getting my new leg braces about two weeks ago? Well I did get them and have spent the last week and a half trying to get used to them. They are just a smidgen different than my old ones, but the same. Did that make sense?
They are hinged a bit more where I can move my feet back and forth more than I could with my old ones. They also don't have an ankle strap to hold my foot in place. Instead, my orthotist built padding up around the ankle to hold it in place and keep it straight as well. This is only the second pair I've ever owned and I can feel a bit of a difference, and I have NOT had to go have them adjusted so I guess all is well. Sunday Chris bought me a new pair of shoes for them too!
Here they are all put together.... they also are not as heavy as they may look:
Sexy huh? I don't wear them with dresses or skirts because they hem always gets stuck in between my leg and the brace... and if you think getting your skirt/dress caught in your underwear is embarrassing, this isn't much better . If it gets caught tight enough when I'm sitting down and go to get up ,it yanks me back;) I will wear them with shorts however in the summer. I do get looks sometimes , but grownups comment on them more than kids... even the kids where I work have seen me walking around with them on with capris and such when I'm just volunteering and not working and they may ask me what they are and all I tell them is something to help me walk. That satisfies them; the adults however question why I need help walking and whatnot, and sometimes I answer and sometimes I don't.
Afterall, answering the same question asked in different ways is sometimes slightly annoying.
Hope ya'll have a great day!

What a Weekend
I"m now home, with a few hours of relative quiet before Nicole gets home and the homework thing starts.
Hope everyone had a great Valentines Day. Mine was so-so. First of all Chris went out Friday night to sort of a reunion before the real reunion with a bunch of people he went to highschool with. I was invited too, but since neither Nicole nor I felt all that great we stayed home. Also didn't help that we hadn't yet found anyone to watch her even if she had been well.
He told me he would be home aroudn 1-2am...ok not a big deal, since he hardly ever goes out. At 315am I get a phone call that his ride decided they were hungry and so they all wound up at IHOP. He got home around 445 Saturday morning and had to be to work by 9.
In his own words he isn't that young anymore and can't pull that kind of a humdinger night , work all day the next , and not expect it to take him the entire rest of the weekend to recover.
So he worked all day V Day, I wasn't able to go grocery shopping, so he brought pizza home for dinner , gave me my card and a kiss and was in bed asleep by like 830.
I wasn't tired at that time,so the dogs and I curled up in bed and I read my book till around 10 or so. Nicole was watching some reality show or another that she likes.
Sunday I plowed through about 5 loads of laundry, crocheted, read the paper and played on the computer for a while... wowee - so exciting.
In other news , please go give some words of comfort to my friend Hot Chica - her brother did pass away this weekend after a prolonged illness. Please keep her and her family in your prayers.
Also my friend Christina finally got attacked by the blog bug and has now entered our blogosphere! Please hop on over there and welcome her. Her blog is called
Rantraveroll.
Not working tomorrow, but am going to a mothers coffee thing at Nicoles school with my mom - have enjoyed the ones the last two years so this should be fun! Will try to take some pics and will talk to everyone later!
Have a great Afternoon!

I'm What?
You Are Coffee |
You always say "yes" to your lover and are hard to tire out. Because of your high energy level, you are best in small doses. Too much of you is too much of a good thing. You may not get tired, but you're likely to wear your partner down. |

On a much more somber note I talked to my good friend in Chicago lastnight and her and her family need prayers. Her brother and his wife, newly married and expecting their first baby have found out that the baby has a severe heart defect. The baby isn't due for another month, but will either need a heart transplant, or at least 3 surgeries , the first of which it will have to undergo by the time its 10 hours old.

Storms Storms Go Away
Therefore I wasn't ready for the gammet of storms that blew through here lastnight. I kept the news on with the tracker thingy in the bottom corner. Heard reports of tornado warnings north of us, and I thanked God above that the storm was moving N/NE and at a very fast clip.
When it blew through my town it was moving about 50 mph and was here and gone within about 30 minutes. All I can say is I was relieved with a capital R.
I spent a little time on Facebook lastnight IM'ing with Hallie of WWoW, she knew I was scared and was just making small talk and chatter so that I would stay calm - Thanks Hallie! - and she said to blog in the morning to let everyone know I was ok.
so, I'm ok:))
Later on today I am going to my monthly Shakespeare Club meeting and am looking forward to it. I am catching a ride with my friend Jackie, who will be leaving us shortly as her Army hubby is being transferred. :(
If you haven't hopped on over to visit my friend Michelle at Semblance of Sanity, you really need to... you can't miss her - look at my sidebar to the right and see the big button , that says Laugh Until you puke? yup, thats Michelle. She is currently hosting a 100 day challenge - either to change your life, or bless someone elses. No set 100 days - you pick the start and stop. If you wish to join, email her and she will send you a small registration form.
I'm joining the challenge and will start ( I think ) on the 16th - that is my goal.
Hope everyone has a great day!

What Goes With Nicole?
For our daughter Nicole, her full name is Honor Lela Nicole. She got two middle names in a fit of hormones when they handed us the form to fill out with her name. We agreed to call her Nicole, not Nicky. When she gets older she can have kids call her whatever she wants, whether it Nicole , Nicky or Honor - but we will still call her Nicole:)
Maybe about a year after she was born, a lady down the street from us gave birth to a baby girl and named her Faith Nicole. She went by Faith. Cute, now we had Honor and Faith on the same street.
Well , the other day at work, I was talking to Nicoles PE teacher, who is also the daughter of the lady who gives me my substitute schedule. She told me her first name was Nikki ( cool, spelled just like my BFF 's name!). I asked her if that was her first name, or her middle name, she said her name was Charity Nicole!!! haha, then I told her about Honor and Faith.
How many more names can we find like that , that also have Nicole as a middle name? tell me any you may have heard of!

Here are the promised pics of our fun spa day that we had on Sunday!
Here is Nicole with her new friend Sarah - they were really into this facial thing and this was about the ONLY time they weren't giggling!
Nicole and Sarah havign fun. That is a heated neck wrap on Nicoles head, not sure if she was trying to look like a Pharoh or what...
Here is Chris with his friend Cheri. They are holding a sign for their friend Margo, who was unable to attend the party.
More pics of the young'uns
Aww, what a cute family!
Chris and Cheri again with a different sign for Margo
Hope everyone is doing well. Also, today is Chica's birthday if you would like to hop on over there and tell her so!
Tomorrow I will be mentioning another great idea from my friend Michelle, so stay tuned!

Weekend Catch Up!
Nicole had to go to the doctor Friday - thought it was strept throat but thank goodness it wasn't - just a virus. Chris is all healed and has his voice back too,so just praying no more illness comes our way.
Friday, my mom came out here to take Nicole and I to the doctor since Chris had our car and when we found out Nicole wasn't very sick, I left her here with her daddy and I went home with my mom for the weekend, just to visit and catch up. We didn't do much, but we still had a wonderful time together.
Chris and Nicole came to get me yesterday and then we went to see a friend of his that he used to work with in Colorado. He hasn't seen her in almost 20 years, and she found him thru Facebook. She is a beauty consultant and was having a Spa Party. We went and wound up being one of the only people there, but it was better that way cause we got Cheri all to ourselves.
She has a 7 yr old daughter and 17 yr old daughter. Nicole and the younger one quickly became friends and did non-stop giggling. We were there for several hours, got facials, mani-pedis and then Chris bought me some cinnamon lipgloss that heats up your lips after a few minutes - yummy:))
Well, it seems that I have to mess with the pics to lighten them a bit - so I will try to post those tomorrow since I don't have alot of time at the moment to do so.
Hope everyone had a great weekend!
Will check ya'lls blogs later!

Random Pic Friday
Enjoy! and I hope everyone has a great weekend! We have something planned for Sunday, as long as everyone is NOT sick ( Nicole is going to the doctor today as her throat has been red and sore for two days now and Strept is rampant atm...)
I really do hope everyone is better because it sounds like fun and I WANNA GO! ( either way on Monday I will let you know what it was or was supposed to be and will have more pics!)
This is a picture of my mom's dog Tipper modeling the new sweater I crocheted him. Not sure why he wouldn't look at me. Maybe he was embarrassed?
This is Judy in her 'I'm cute and I know it pose' . Go ahead and bring your finger on over here - I want a snack...
This is a picture of the pizza that Nicole and I attempted to make a week or so ago. We had forgotten to buy any meat toppings, so it was a very cheesy pizza, including shredded velveeta lol.
And this one is another cute pic of Nicole in Chris' computer chair holding our incredibly pitiful dog Cooper while she plays on Barbie.com or some such.
And this one turned out a bit darker than I would have liked, but these are a picture of Chris' Blueberry Yums that he got for Christmas from my mom.

SHUT UP ALREADY!
Now I'm not headed off to the looney bin due to talking to my walls, I was actually trying to tell the dog next door to shut up so I could get some sleep.
If I had an outside dog that barked sporadically and then constantly for 15-20 at a time at 3 am, I'd logically wake up and at least go check to make sure everything was ok. Wouldn't you?
We are friendly with these neighbors, but not overly so.
I KNOW there house is layed out almost like mine and thier bedroom is right across the backyard from ours, so its not like they couldn't hear their dog barking. She was right in between our rooms!
She isn't a little yappy dog either, she is a big yellow lab that is part wolf as well. She has these beautifully eery yellow eyes - but anyway - not once did they come out to check on her, or see why she was making so much racket. Making that racket off and on all night till I finally gave up on sleep and got out of bed at 530.
Needless to say I didn't sleep well, but other than that I'm doing ok.
Chris went back to work today, but personally I think he needed another day. His boss knows and can tel how bad he is feeling so hoepfully he can make it thru the day, but if not, she will at least send him home. HIs next paycheck won't be pretty, but most of the bill come out of his first of the month check so we will be fine.
Hope everyone else is doing good as well. Have a great day!

NOT a Wordless Wednesday:)
This morning I went grocery shopping, and then to the bank. After I came home, did dishes, cleaned up the living room and kitchen a bit, ate lunch, shoved drugs down the hubby and then ate lunch myself I am finally able to sit and do my post.
I had a new visitor to my blog, who I in turn visited - BARB at Tinkquilts.blogspot.com. She has a pretty cute blog , and right now has a Valentines Day contest going on thru this Sunday evening. You have to leave her a story of your best or worst V-Day! She has some really cute homemade prizes, so please go check her out! ( I think there will be more than one winner! )
You know my mom has heart problems - I know I've mentioned them in the past. Well she went for a routine stress test yesterday and today they called her and told her that something showed up again. She has to go in Monday to find out whats going on.
Please go give my friend Hot Chica in Me some comfort words as her brother is not doing well at all. She doesn't want to lose him, however she no longer wants to see him suffering either. Please say a small prayer for her and her family and go tell her you are thinking of her.
Also, my friend Nan - her father just found out he has a brain tumor that is affecting his sight. At the moment they believe it to be benign, but the surger will be tricky, and is scheduled for the 18th of this month. She doesn't have a blog, but I know she reads this one, so leave her some good thoughts here if you wish:)
Amid all of this stressful news , I did get some GOOD news! MY NEW LEG BRACES ARE FINALLY IN!! I have to go Monday to get them - YIPPEE! They are supposed to be a tad bit different from the ones I've been wearing for the past five years, so I'll take a pic of them and show them off probably Monday or Tuesday!
Chris , Nicole and I got invited out this coming Sunday and it sounds like a blast - so heres hoping he is all better and we can go! If we do , I will surely blog about it! with pics!
Well, thats all for now, hope ya'll are having a great day!

Ahhh, Comfort Food
You Are Mac and Cheese |
When you are stressed out, you seek safety above everything else. And nothing is more nourishing than a big warm plate of carbs. Taking risks takes a toll on you, and you prefer your comfort food to be old fashioned. You're the type of person who could eat the same meal every night, especially when life is hard. |
so which one are you?

Good Morning!
Saturday I went grocery shopping with Nicole, then came home and did some housework.
Sunday Nicole and I went to visit my mom and bring her dog Tipper the new sweater I crocheted for him:) He looks soo cute in it!
I tried going to see Nikki's nephew Tyler in the hospital, but he just wasn't feeling well and wasn't up to visitors that weren't his family. Maybe I will try to see him when he actually comes home. I found out a bit more fron Nikki of what happened - when he was hit hit landed on his hip - the fall broke his hip and shattered his pelvis.
He was in traction until Friday when they tried to operate. They originally said that it would be about a 3-4 hour surgery. After 4 1/2 hours Tylers blood pressure started to drop as he was getting warn out from the surgery. They finished what they were doing at that time and said they would go back in today or tomorrow after he rested up a bit more.
After all is said and done he will have about 3-4 months of rehab ahead of him.
Please pray for him.
My friend Michelle of Semblance of Sanity has given her blog a mega makeover, so check it out and if you haven't subscribed to her youtube channel and stuff please do so, as not to miss any episodes of her new video show!
So far I'm not scheduled to work this week, but that can change in a heartbeat. Chris finally went back to work. He had bad bronchitis and when he got sent home Thursday , I went to the pharmacy and got some Mucinex DM and boy does that stuff work! He doesn't have much of a voice left but he's feeling much better. If this stupid weather would just make up its freakin' mind.
I did watch the Super Bowl with Chris lastnight. We didn't have any big SB party, but he and I ate good football game watching stuff. I made Scalloped Eggplant for dinner. Then eventually we munched on fritos and bean dip and drank Dr Peppers out of cute football shaped bottles:)
I crocheted most of the time and am sure I drove Chris a little nuts asking him to explain some plays and stuff that I'm still learning about. Laughed at alot of the commercials. I especially liked the Doritos one where the guy had the snowglobe as his Crystal ball. People getting hit in the crotch is usually pretty funny any way you look at it, unless you are the one that got hit...
Here are few commercials, that aren't new, but are funny as all get out. Turn off my music on my sidebar in order to hear them properly:

Hope ya'll have a great MOnday:)
