Ice Day

Wow, I woke up around 5:15 this morning and thankfully got the update that Nicoles school was closed around 5:40, so I crawled back into my nice warm bed with Cooper and Cher, but unfortunately no hubby since he was already up.

I woke back up around 7:30 because the dogs were hungry but Chris stopped them from pouncing on me by feeding them himself, hehe.

Then Chris informed me that he was at least going to try to drive to the bus station and take that into downtown to his job. Ok, I know HE can drive in this crap but its the other morons that I"m worried about that don't !

I bundled up in my oh so sexy floor length robe and fuzzy slippers to quickly step outside and take some quick pics:

See all the white stuff? that isn't fluffy snow - its ALLL ice ...

Here is Chris trying to get the frozen car doors open - at this point he wasn't having much luck and was getting a tad frustrated...
The kiddo is still sleeping, so I think I'm going to go make myself a nice big plate of french toast.
Later:)

Having not spent much time in ice, I am sure this is totally wrong, but why not just throw hot water on the door...not the window, just the door.

Oh that just makes me giggle. Y'all just need some salt. And ummm try heating your key to put it in the lock to get it open. Or bring out a hairdryer on an extension cord to unseal the doors... not that I'd know anything about this kind of weather ;)
