EWWWW GROSSS!!!

Is what we heard Nicole proclaim as she walked into the kitchen the other night , while Chris and I were locked in a lip embrace. We asked her what was so gross, she'd seen her father and I kiss before.
She said yeah mom, but only like a quick kiss goodnight,or goodbye or whatever. I've never seen you making out , and in the kitchen too!

Let me just say here and now we were NOT making out , he just had his arms around my waist and mine were around his neck - they were legal - no petting, or anything else. Still she thought we were being gross.

I can't help it if I like to kiss my hubby - he is very kissable in my book! I remember one time not too long after we had begun dating that he took me to a concert at Cowboys Nightclub in Arlington to see the newly signed artist Tim McGraw. This was just after his first song had come out so he was still very new. Anyway, we were with a couple of friends and that night, and we danced, and kissed - alot. He was drinking Peppermint Schnapps and he tasted sooo good. Our friends kept telling us to go get a room, lol.

Sorry I digress... just saying I love to kiss Chris.

I also asked Nicole , wouldn't she rather see us kissing and know how much we love each other , than to hear us yell, fight and never touch?

She said "that's true, but still making out in the kitchen - I could have done without that."

Go figure. She'll figure it out on her own someday.

LOL!!! Sometimes our kids won't leave us alone. All we have to do is kiss and they run and hide!

we will kiss and even rub tongues (of course sticking them way out) just to gross out the kids...it is just too much fun... they act like they can't stand the thought but our house is full of kissing... LOL butt tapping, or other fun things LOL... Carry on the kitchen is a great kissing place!

lol! I think it's so healthy for kids to see that kind of thing. You're right- she knows you love each other and that is real security.

Funny - yes, our girls have the same reaction - even as they've grown older. I think they forget just how they made it into this world.

Ha! It's good for them to see it, later they will appreciate it.

Yeah... you forget that when she figures it out, she's likely to be of an age when seeing her kissing kinda wigs you out! ;)

I so love that, as long as you been married, you still have that flame for each other...I hope when Don & I have been married that long, we do to!!!

Yep the kitchen is a great place for kissing and dancing. Keep setting the example of a good marriage!
My hubby's kisses got him to the church on time. A kiss is a powerful thing.

How funny! If my daughter sees her daddy and I hugging or kissing, she comes running, gets right in between us and gives me a big hug and tries to push her daddy out of the way! Oh well, maybe when she's a little older, it'll start to gross her out, too. So, take those precious moments of togetherness while you can!
